ABOUT ME
My name is Abulele Ndenze and I am a South African filmmaker, photographer and audio engineer based in Heilbronn, Germany. I've been producing and assisting in video content creation under the name Yu So Yung Films since 2019.

My journey as a content creator began in 2013 when I won the DJ Young Guru Scholarship to study a year of audio production at Sae Institute Cape Town. This would later be followed by my Bachelor of Arts in Film Production studies from 2017 to 2019 which kick start my filmmaking and photography career. I've been assisting in commercial and working on my own independent film projects since 2018. I have experience working in pre-production and production as an assistant in commercials and music videos. These include two international commercials with Farm Films in South Africa. A commercial for Coca Cola and Gaviscon.

My personal filmmaking milestones include pitching and directing a fashion film that was on the top 10 selection for Emerging Creative Talent in the 2019 Bokeh South African International Fashion Film Festival. I worked as a sound designer and sound mixer for my team's graduation film called It's A Bittersweet Life which was on official selection in a few film festivals around the world.

THE BELOVED
DRAMA (SHORT FILM)
After losing his wife to a misdiagnosed brain tumour, a man struggles to come to terms with that he will never see her again. He attempts to relive his memory of her presence by consuming alcohol and when he's drunk, his memories and moments that he had shared with her come to life but as he continues to desperately hold on to the memories of his wife he spirals down to the path of alcoholism and deep depression.
